They say you should always do one thing that scares you. Giving a TedxTalk is exactly that thing for me. I adore TED talks and am always amazed at the passion people display when sharing their ideas. In the back of my mind I’ve always thought I’d like to do one. When the opportunity presented itself, I knew I had to try. But what am I passionate about?
Here is my TEDxYouth talk at Le Bocage International School Event held in October 2017.
It was a great experience and I am so proud of pushing myself to do it but it was HARD! I am not nervous in front of groups of people, I love giving workshops but a talk is a different thing – there is no back and forth, it is just you. And, you have to MEMORISE what you want to say and make it sound natural!
It may not look it, but this talk was hours and hours and hours in the making. I am thankful to the Le Bocage crew for their support and of course to my family and friends who championed me.
